The themes extend beyond mineral extraction. The organisers include geology and mineral science, mining safety and sustainability, resource processing and energy systems. This combination brings geological observations together with engineering and decisions about resource development. Source: GEOMINE / MUST — themes and sessions.

For mapping professionals, the geospatial intelligence session highlights GIS, remote sensing, Earth observation and digital twins. Another strand covers artificial intelligence, data analytics and integrated modelling. These are programme topics; this article does not report demonstrated results. Speakers, rooms and activities should be checked in the official event materials. Its international relevance lies in exchange among researchers and professionals across disciplines; a programme announcement does not establish that a technology has been validated or that new deposits have been discovered.
